Locations

Come and join me for a Forest Bathing + session at one of the beautiful locations in Cambridgeshire, UK.

Manor Wood

Manor Wood is privately owned and ancient woodland, close to the village of Grafham in Huntingdon. Ancient woodland is an area that has been continuously wooded since at least 1600. Ancient woodland is the optimal environment for forest bathing sessions because the ecological system has developed over a long period of time, it has increased biodiversity and the trees give off more of the beneficial compounds that are advantageous for our health when we breathe them in. Manor woods with its towering Ash trees and mighty Oaks feels like a world of its own, where time slows down and you can't help relaxing just being in the presence of this historic woodland.

Paxton pits

Paxton Pits Nature Reserve includes over 70 hectares of different habitats including lakes, meadows, scrub and woodland. The Forest Bathing sessions there take place in Rory's Woods and a wooded peninsula that extends into a lake (an area we are given special access to for forest bathing sessions). It is a quiet and peaceful part of the nature reserve, where the magical Nightingale sings in Spring time and the calming waters of the lakes provide a truly relaxing backdrop.
